I think there is no relation between this stuff and your hair loss. If you really need this one, please ask to some one who is going to Japan. It"s still able to buy this in  Japanese pharmacy without any prescription. What is popular in Japan now is...maybe "Rogaine" or  "Re-up" including minoxidil. I think you can import "Rogaine" from US directly, and  "Re-up" is Taisho Seiyaku"s product.
