Wash headband wigs gently

To wash human hair wigs, one watchword: delicacy. To do this, mix your shampoo with water in a bottle and then run the mixture over your already wet lace front wigs. Gently massage your scalp to distribute the product and rinse thoroughly with cold or lukewarm water. Remember to respect the demarcations between your locks to prevent them from getting tangled. You can also apply a conditioner using the same technique: it will make your lace wigs shiny and easier to comb.

• Tip: Choose a mild shampoo (with a neutral pH) and without sulphates.

Let your lace front wigs air dry

Once your headband wigs are clean, press the tips upwards to shape your curls. Dab your extensions with a towel and detangle them with your fingers and a wide tooth comb. The best is then to let your human hair wigs dry in the open air. If you are in a hurry and wear natural lace wigs, you can also use the cold air blower from your hair dryer (hot promotes the appearance of bad odors).

Adopt an adapted hair routine

Friction against the pillow can damage your lace front wigs: it is therefore essential to protect it before going to sleep. To do this, tie your headband wigs in a loose braid and cover it with a scarf. You can also opt for a silk pillowcase, which is less aggressive than cotton. In the morning, untie your lengths, lightly dampen lace wigs and gently untangle them, from the ends to the roots.

Tip: If knots resist you, use a little detangling serum to facilitate styling. Also remember to moisturize your human hair wigs regularly with hair oil.
