피겨 스케이트 그랑프리(GP) 시리즈 제 2전 스케이트 캐나다에서 여자 싱글 와타나베 린과(20세)가 첫 우승, 남자 싱글에서는 우노창마가 우승, 페어에서는 미우라리 와, 키하라 류이치조가 우승해 일본세가 3관을 완수했다.

フィギュアスケート グランプリ（GP）シリーズ第2戦スケートカナダで女子シングル 渡辺倫果(20歳)が初優勝、男子シングルでは宇野昌磨が優勝、ペアでは三浦璃来、木原龍一組が優勝し日本勢が3冠を果たした。
