(워싱턴=연합뉴스) 김세진 특파원 = 극단주의 무장단체 “이슬람국가”(IS)에 대응하는 과정에서 “(미군) 군사고문단이 IS 목표를 공격하는 이라크군에 동행할 필요가 있다면 대통령에게 제안하겠다”고 마틴 뎀프시 미국 합참의장이 밝혔다.
뎀프시 합참의장은 16일(현지시간) 상원 군사위원회 청문회에 출석해 IS 대응을 위해 미국이 시도하는 국제 군사연합 전선이 “적절한 방법이고 그것이 진실로 입증될 것”이라고 말했다
