その後、ピアースさんが、救助活動に使用し、ボディのサイドが焦げ、バックミラーやサイドミラーが溶けてしまったタンドラを自身のインスタグラムやFacebookに投稿すると、その投稿が大きな注目を集め、トヨタUSAは新車のトラックをピアースさんにプレゼントすることを約束。
そして22日、実際にタンドラがプレゼントされたそうで、ピアースさんは救助活動に使用したタンドラと新車を向い合せた写真を投稿。またcarthrottleによれば、これから新車は同じく投稿を見た自動車専門店・Rockstar
Garageによりカスタムされるようですよ。
